About this Event
Join Richland County Public Education Partners (RCPEP) for an inspiring morning dedicated to highlighting our crucial education partners that support students and educators throughout Richland County. Our Bright Future Breakfast held at The Palmetto Club on Thursday, October 3, 2024 is an open invitation to the public, especially those who are passionate about advocating for our educational system.
This event serves as a platform to bring together community members, educators, policymakers, and advocates who share a common goal: to enhance and support the educational landscape in our county. Through an engaging discussion led by Fraendy Clervaud and networking, RCPEP is here to partner with you to develop a stronger, more informed community dedicated to the success of our students and educators in Richland County school districts.
Joining Fraendy in this engaging conversation is:
Kelsie Carter - Military Liaison and Parent as Leaders Participant, Richland School District 2
Alana Grant - Executive Director, Richland County Public Education Partners
Patrick Kelly - Director of Governmental Affairs, Palmetto State Teachers Association
Catherine Schumacher - President and CEO, Greenville Public Education Partners
Tickets for this event are $35 with a $10 discount for educators ($25).

About RCPEP
Richland County Public Education Partners was founded in 2018 by community members who wanted to ensure that Richland County becomes an educational leader in the state. Our mission is to strengthen the public education system through impactful programming that engages parents, empowers educators, fosters community involvement and enriches student experiences. RCPEP believes that quality public education is vital to the success of our community and every child deserves the opportunity to experience a high-quality education regardless of where they live. By working towards strengthening our public education system, our community can overcome the barriers created by poverty, trauma, and systemic racism.
